Moving from Google Image Charts
A home for your Google Image Charts URLs.
Google Image Charts took a chart as a URL and returned an image, and it shut down. RenderChart works the same way. Paste an old chart URL to get its RenderChart version.
Convert a chart.
Converted. Change anything here and the chart follows.

The same chart as cfg, if you'd rather keep the config:
How the parameters map.
| Google Image Charts | RenderChart | Notes |
|---|---|---|
cht | type | bvs and bvg become bar, bhs becomes hbar, lc line, p pie, pc doughnut, r radar, s scatter. |
chd=t: | y, or y1 to y10 | Each | starts a new series. Only text encoding converts. |
chl, chxl | x | Labels, comma separated instead of |. |
chdl | n1 to n10 | Series names. |
chs=600x400 | w=600&h=400 | Up to 2000 each, not 300,000 pixels in total. |
chtt | title | Up to 200 characters. |
chco | c | Hex colours without #. |
chds | min, max | Value axis bounds. |
What's different here.
You pay for renders
Only the first request for a chart counts. Every view after it comes from cache and is free.
Your key is in the URL
Use a short URL on Starter and above to hide the key and the data behind /s/.
Charts don't break
On a paid plan, going over your renders never stops a chart. We email you instead.
